Beginner / Basic 1-4 Days

Speed Flying Basic Requirements & Training Overview:

At SpeedFly Sports, NO previous experience is required to participate in the Speed Flying basic training course.

The basic course is a day by day instructional course in which first time pilots will learn the fundamentals of Speed Flying.

During the course you will learn:

• Introduction to the equipment and how to perform a preflight inspection on your gear

• Launch sequence and practice the layout

• Forward launch run ups 

• Ground handling drills

• How to fly your wing

 

At Speed Fly Sports we have multiple launch points to give a fun, safe gradual progression from your first mini flights to launching from the top!

Includes: Lodging, daily park fees, gear rental, ground school, training, debriefs and 4X4 transportation at the training hill.

This course is $455/day.

Crossover Course / Skydivers & Paragliders 1-3 Days

Crossover Courses:
If you already have a fundamental knowledge of flying from another relative sport such as Skydiving or Paragliding we also offer other programs that may be more suited for your ability.  The abbreviated course listed below is a great way to be safely introduced to the exciting world of Speed Flying with crossover training from the most experienced staff in Speed Flying today.

The crossover course is a day by day instructional course in which pilots with a limited amount of flying experience will learn the fundamentals of Speed Flying at an accelerated pace.

This course is recommended for students that have a limited amount of flying experience.

Skydivers:​

• A license

Paragliding pilots:

• P1 license.

Includes: Lodging, daily park fees, gear rental, ground school, training, debriefs and 4X4 transportation at the training hill.

This course is $400/day.

Experienced Speed Flyers

As always, we encourage experienced pilots to join us and fly as much as possible. It's a great way to stay current as well as develop and improve all of the necessary skills to become an even more competent pilot. Rates for experienced Speed Flyers are listed below.

Park Fees:

• Daily Park Fee- $10

• Annual memberships- $360 (pro-rated discounts for remaining year)

Gear Rental:

• Wing & Harness- $150/day

• Wing $125/day

• Harness $45/day

4X4 Transportation on Hill:  

• $11/ride

Accommodations:
Bunkhouse: $50/night (Limited slots available, call for reservations)

Van/Car Camping at house: $25/night

Basic Skydiving Canopy Piloting Course

Skydiving Canopy Piloting Basic Requirements & Training Overview:
